Kids and Gardening - Seedlings and Sprouts

At Woodbury's Garden Center, our passion for gardening started when we were children. If you would love to instill this passion in your children, bring them to Woodbury's Garden Center for a visit. We are building a special child-centered garden area where kids can interact, learn and just have fun.

Parents and neighbors can share their enjoyment for gardening with their children. These are memories that you can share with them which involve all five senses. Teach your children to associate gardening with relaxation... don't call it "work". Enlist children as "helpers", teaching them as you share your love of gardening. As the saying goes, gardeners are grown "a sprout at a time". Visit our "Fun for Sprouts" page where you'll find gardening humor and fun facts just for kids!

Please join us at Woodbury's Garden Center for information regarding kids and gardening. We welcome school and community groups as well.
